PSA is an advanced gas separation technology, based on the physical adsorption of the internal surface of the adsorbent to gas molecules, separating the gas with the characteristics of absorbing easily to the high-boiling point gas and difficultly to low boiling point gases, and of absorbing more gases under high-pressure and less under low-pressure. Such process of the adsorption under increasing pressure, and the desorption under reduced pressure to impurities is PSA cycle. As picture shows, in the adsorption equilibrium circumstances, when the carbon molecular sieve adsorbs the same gas, the higher gas pressure is, the greater adsorption capacity of the adsorbent is. Conversely, by lower pressure the adsorption capacity is smaller. At the same time, under the pressure of certain adsorption, the amount of O2 adsorption by carbon molecular sieve is much higher than the amount of N2 adsorption. PSA nitrogen generator produces N2 gas, using air as raw materials and carbon molecular sieve as adsorbent, by the selective adsorption of carbon molecular sieve to O2 and N2, achieving the separation of the N2 and O2 in the air. PSA nitrogen generator has the characteristics of simple technological process, facilitate operation, high degree of automation, fast production (15 to 30’minutes), low consumption, and high purity. In addition, the purity of product can be regulated in the larger scope according to user’s need. Because of many advantages of this product, PSA nitrogen generator has become the first choice of small and medium-sized users. PSA Nitrogen Generator |
