Hydrogen Generator by Decomposition of Ammonia

Principle
Hydrogen generator by decomposition of ammonia uses liquid ammonia as raw materials. Preheated liquid ammonia is gasified to enter into decomposition calciner loaded full with catalyst, in the role of catalyst, ammonia is decomposed to release mixed gas composed of 75% hydrogen and 25% of the nitrogen under certain temperature and pressure, mixed gas could be purified or be used directly after getting across gas-cooler and heat exchanger and flowmeter.



Characteristics

1. Using high-quality, heat-resistant, corrosion-resistant, stainless alloy steel as the gall of decomposition furnace to ensure the long-term stable operation of devices;

2. Heating components using high-quality alloy materials, and extending equipment life;

3. Heating components using the installation method of plug and play, could replace heating devices without supplying gas to convenience for repairing and maintenance;

4. Double-fin heat exchanger material for the metal components to fully enhance the heat transfer area, ensuring efficiency;

5. High temperature nickel catalyst, low content of residual ammonia and good effect of decomposition;

6. Cooler mixed-use with static structure to avoid the fault caused by tube deformation of conventional cooler.

Note:

Work pressure is usually divided into three grades: 0.5bar, 2bar, 6bar. The table is applied for the conditions when work pressure is at 0.5bar, and the temperature of Cooling water is less than 35 ℃. When the purity of ammonia meets the first-class with GB 536-1988 standards, excellent ammonia is recommended.
